William A. Coskey, P.E.
William “Bill” Coskey founded ENGlobal in 1985 and has served as Chairman of the Board since 2005. He has also served in a number of other positions over the years, including:
- President and Chief Executive Officer since August 2012
- Chief Executive Officer from April 2007 to May 2010
- President from 2003 to June 2005
- President and Chief Operating Officer from 2001 to 2003
- Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President from 1985 until 2001
An honors graduate of Texas A&M University, Mr. Coskey received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1975, and is a Registered Professional Engineer. He has served on the Texas A&M University Electrical Engineering Department Advisory Council from 1999 until 2014, and as Chairman of the Council from 2006 until 2014. In 2014, he was also appointed to the Texas A&M College of Engineering Advisory Council. Mr. Coskey is the recipient of the 2014 Outstanding Alumni Honor Award from the Texas A&M University College of Engineering.
Mark A. Hess, CPA
Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer
Mark A. Hess, CPA
Mark Hess has served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of ENGlobal Corporation since September 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Hess has served in various positions, including as interim Chief Financial Officer from June 2012 to September 2012, and Corporate Controller from July 2011 until June 2012. Mr. Hess assumed the Corporate Secretary responsibilities in December 2017.
Prior to joining ENGlobal, Mr. Hess served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Geokinetics, Inc., a publicly traded seismic data service company, from April 2008 to April 2010. From November 2004 to April 2008, he served as Director of Finance for CGGVeritas, a publicly traded seismic data service company. In total, he has over 35 years of experience in various accounting, merger and acquisition, and finance roles, primarily in public companies.
Mr. Hess is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston. He is an active member of Financial Executives International (FEI).
Senior Vice President of Business Development
Michael Patton was appointed Senior Vice President of Business Development at ENGlobal Corporation in 2016. His first stint with ENGlobal was from 1998 through 2010, when he held several positions, including:
- Senior Vice President of Business Development
- President of ENGlobal Government Services, Inc.
- Senior Vice President and General Manager of ENGlobal’s Tulsa Office
Prior to joining ENGlobal, Mr. Patton served as the General Manager of the Gulf Coast Regional offices for Saulsbury Industries, and as their Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning from 2014 to 2015. From 2011 through 2013, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Oil, Gas, and Chemical Division of CDI.
Mr. Patton graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He has been a Registered Professional Engineer since 1980. Mr. Patton is an active member of several technical societies representing the Oil, Gas and Chemical industry sectors.
Senior Vice President for Engineering and Automation Operations
Bruce Williams joined ENGlobal in 2004 and has over 40 years of domestic and international experience in engineering and project management. In his current position as Sr. Vice President, he is responsible for the Engineering and Automation operations in the Houston area. Mr. Williams served as Chief Operating Officer from September 2013 to April 2017. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Midwest/Southwest Operations of ENGlobal’s Engineering and Construction segment from September 2012 to September 2013.
Mr. Williams has an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa, with post-graduate studies in Environmental Management from the University of Houston and MBA studies at Incarnate Word University.
John L. Kratzert
Senior Vice President of Government Services
John L. Kratzert
John Kratzert joined ENGlobal as a Program Manager and took on the responsibility of General Manager for ENGlobal Government Services in November 2012. Currently, he serves as Senior Vice President for Automation. In this role, he is responsible for ENGlobal Government Services, which provides automation design, procurement, installation, integrations, cybersecurity and maintenance related services for Automated Fuel Handling Systems to federal government clients. Mr. Kratzert also leads the midstream Engineering & Construction services for our Rocky Mountain Region commercial clients.
Prior to joining ENGlobal, Mr. Kratzert served in leadership positions with BAE Systems, SAIC and MANDEX. Mr. Kratzert is a retired Marine Corps Officer and has over 33 years of experience leading domestic and international organizations.
Mr. Kratzert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina, and a Master of Science Degree in Management from Troy University.
Vice President of Human Resources
Scott Curd joined ENGlobal in November 2011 and brings over 35 years of Human Resources experience to the organization. He has staffed and managed HR operations ranging from USD $50 million to $6.8 billion in the U.S., and, in over twenty international locations, including the Middle East and Iraq, with over 16,000 employees.
Prior to joining ENGlobal, Mr. Curd spent 14 years with KBR and Halliburton as Senior Human Resources Manager and was Director of HR for CDI Engineering and Audubon Engineering.
Mr. Curd is a Graduate from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Business Management. He serves on the Steering Committee for HECSS, and is a certified Mediator.
